It started in Microsoft Word, with a 7th birthday invitation. I still remember carefully cycling through the clip art, directing my dad to move the balloons 1px to the left. Now, after 30 years and a long career in digital product design, my appreciation for paper goods has only deepened.

Call it an attack on the screen addicted culture we live in, but I’ve felt drawn back to my first love. In this fast paced world, creating on paper slows me down - and as I’ve gotten older I’ve begun to realize that “faster & easier” isn’t always the most joyful path.
